To qualify for the award, Business Insurance works with Best Companies Group to identify the leading employers in the insurance industry by conducting a two-part assessment of each firm. Part one is an employer questionnaire focused on company policies, practices and demographics. Part two is a confidential employee survey about engagement and satisfaction, which requires a high number of participant responses. There are three divisions of award winners, based on company size: small employers (25-249 employees); medium employers (250-999 employees); and large employers (1,000 or more employees).<\/p>\n
