Based in Chicago, Caryn will work closely with American Global colleagues to deliver value to large regional, national and global contractors, as well as Alternative Project Delivery opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Marino, American Global CEO, shared the following: \u201cCaryn is an industry leader whose experience and dedication generate results which fits well with the team environment at American Global. Caryn\u2019s deep technical, project underwriting and risk mitigation background will be valuable in supporting our clients\u2019 needs. Her experience provides a unique and important perspective to add to our diverse team of professionals dedicated to delivering a more comprehensive solution set to their increasingly complex needs. I couldn\u2019t be more proud to welcome Caryn to our team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Caryn is an experienced attorney and corporate executive with fifteen years in the construction and surety industry. Before joining American Global, Caryn spent over nine years at The Walsh Group, where she was most recently Vice President of Strategic Projects. In her role she led and managed the transactional legal team and worked closely in joint venture partnerships with many of the most reputable contractors throughout the U.S. Caryn and her team were responsible for alternative delivery project pursuits, as well as the analysis, underwriting and negotiation of complex construction and development contracts, including public-private partnerships and various related partnership agreements. Caryn\u2019s experience in the construction industry began in 2007 with Safeco Surety, now Liberty Mutual Surety, handling surety claims as Senior Surety Counsel in the Chicago office. In addition, Caryn brings years of commercial litigation experience gained at two national New York and Chicago law firms, primarily in contracts, business and insurance law, that will enhance her efforts to support and connect with insurance and surety clients globally.<\/p>\n<p>Caryn shared, \u201cI am very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to join American Global. I hope to quickly add value and contribute to both growing and supporting our ever-increasing client base.
