María Jose Soriano is Vice President–Surety, for international operations at American Global. Residing in our Miami office, Maria serves as the senior client contact for international clients. By building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and carriers alike, she helps the team guide clients through the complexities of working across borders. With a decade of knowledge and experience in international surety (from the carrier perspective) Maria supports our clients’ needs in several regions including North America, Latin America and Europe.
Prior to joining American Global, María worked for Crum and Foster as a Regional UW Manager of Major Markets for the Latin America region and previously for AIG and AIG Seguros as a Reverse Flow Surety Underwriting Manager for Latin America.
María holds a Master in Business Administration with a focus in Project Management from Aden Business School in El Salvador, a Diplomado en Seguros from the Asociacion Salvadoreña de Empresas de Seguros and a degree in Economics from Universidad Centroamericana “José Simeón Cañas” UCA
