Paul Messenger is the President of our Texas operations. Paul leads a team of innovative and technical construction surety and insurance professionals dedicated to delivering best in class service and solutions to our clients. Paul has 20 + years of construction risk management experience helping clients with their most challenging insurance and risk management issues. With a focus on identifying contractors’ total cost of risk, Paul works tirelessly to help his clients reduce their cost of risk, putting more to the bottom line. Prior to joining American Global, Paul previously held leadership positions at large international brokerage firms. Other areas of expertise include risk financing, contractual risk transfer, controlled insurance programs and subcontractor default insurance. Paul is active in several industry trade organization and was on the board of directors for the Associated General Contractors of America from 2017-2018. Paul is a graduate of the West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
