Wes Williams has joined the American Global team as Vice President, bringing with him over two decades of construction surety experience and local market knowledge of the Southeast United States.
Wes joins American Global from Aon, where he held the role of Vice President, Contract Surety for the South Region. Over the last nine years at Aon, Wes developed and managed a large book of surety clients, specializing in tailored solutions for contractors ranging from local privately held businesses to large, multi-national conglomerates. In addition to having begun his career at Chubb Surety, Wes gained extensive experience while working as an Underwriting Consultant for Liberty Mutual. There, he independently managed a large portfolio of construction clients across the Southeast.
“We are excited to have someone of Wes’ caliber join our team. He is an established leader in the surety and construction markets, and will prove to be an invaluable asset to our clients and team. I look forward to working with Wes and the contributions he will bring as we continue to grow.”
– JENNIFER WESTMORELAND, PRESIDENT OF AMERICAN GLOBAL OF GEORGIA
Wes strongly aligns with American Global’s customer-focused philosophy, and will focus on supporting client initiatives through strategy and innovative solutions. Although he will serve as a resource across the entire American Global organization, Wes will focus primarily on the surety portfolio of its Georgia operations.
Wes is a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and is an active member of the Association of General Contractors and Construction Financial Management Associate.
