Welcome To The Team Maria Jose Soriano

We are pleased to announce that María Jose Soriano has joined American Global as Vice President – Surety (International), based out of our Miami office. María brings more than ten years of surety experience and will serve as the senior strategic client contact for international clients in the Latin America region.

Ricardo Davila, Head of International for American Global said, “I am extremely honored and proud to have María joining our office in Miami. Her knowledge and experience of international surety from the carrier perspective will support our clients’ needs in the different regions we currently service, including North America, Latin America and Europe.”

Prior to joining American Global, María worked for Crum and Foster as a Regional UW Manager of Major Markets for the Latin America region and previously for AIG and AIG Seguros as a Reverse Flow Surety Underwriting Manager for Latin America.

María is eager to begin her new role, noting “I am very excited to join the international team at American Global. I look forward to building new relationships and providing outstanding service to support clients around the globe.”

María holds a Master in Business Administration with a focus in Project Management from Aden Business School in El Salvador, a Diplomado en Seguros from the Asociacion Salvadoreña de Empresas de Seguros and a degree in Economics from Universidad Centroamericana “José Simeón Cañas” UCA
