American Global is excited to announce that Deanna Brewer has joined our Canadian operations, based out of Calgary, as Senior Vice President. With more than 25 years’ experience in construction surety, Deanna has supported multi-billion dollar accounts for some of North America’s largest contractors. Her vast knowledge and strong communication skills will make her a valuable addition to our team and an outstanding Account Executive for our clients.

Deanna has experience working with JV, P3, and AFP projects, and has provided extensive surety consultation to public and Provincial sectors in Canada. With a deep understanding of contractual risk, Deanna can also assist in reviewing construction RFPs/tenders, as well as construction contracts (i.e., Design Build CM@Risk, Stipulated Lump Sum and more). Her collaborative approach and industry expertise will further enhance and complement the capabilities of her Canadian colleagues.

Prior to joining American Global Canada, Deanna spent 20+ years expanding her capabilities and growing her career at Aon in Edmonton, before briefly serving as Senior Vice President of NFP Construction and Infrastructure Group- Surety (now an Aon Company). Deanna began her early career as a Surety Broker Assistant with Phoenix Insurance Group of Brokers (now Hub International).
