American Global is excited to welcome Vice President Tracy McLean to our national Canadian surety team, based out of Ontario. Bringing vast knowledge and more than 30 years’ experience in insurance and surety, Tracy McLean is an innovative force and strategic leader who can help clients navigate the complexities of US/CAN cross border business transactions in an ever-changing global marketplace.

Specializing in alternative business strategies, Tracy utilizes critical thinking and data analysis to help clients improve efficiencies and best practices while addressing liability exposures. Tracy’s strong relationship with many trade associations, together with her deep understanding of local and federal governments and regulatory requirements, makes her a trusted advisor and valuable asset for our clients. With her collaborative approach to risk management and a firm commitment to deliver superior solutions, Tracy’s attributes align perfectly with American Global’s core values.

Prior to joining American Global Tracy held executive positions at some of Canada‘s leading national and regional brokerage firms. She holds a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation (CAIB) and is licensed as a broker in Ontario (RIBO), Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Colombia. Tracy is a past president of RIBO as well as the Toronto Insurance Conference, and is a former chair of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada. Tracy studied Business, Travel and Tourism at Seneca College in Toronto.
