Michael Marino
Michael Marino is an innovative and dynamic leader in the construction risk management industry. In May 2014, Michael founded American Global with the goal of creating a collaborative brokerage company whose passion is oriented toward attracting and developing the very best team members in the industry, with a focus on technical expertise in the construction and risk management arena. Over the last nine years, American Global has grown into one of the largest construction surety and insurance brokerages in the USA. American Global is also unique as a privately held organization with a commitment to investing in diverse talent and resources, providing a richer level of service and experience than our competitors. Michael is a solution provider and client advocate working to support many large, complex, international, and domestic contractors. Michael began his career at Chubb but moved to the brokerage side of the surety business in 2008, where he worked at Allied North America’s New York headquarters. Upon Aon’s acquisition of Allied North America, Michael moved to Miami, Florida, accepting a role as Surety Director for Aon’s Southeast Operation. In this role, Michael worked closely with many large international contractors, creating innovative surety programs that both expanded their capacity and eliminated geographical restrictions through regional or global offerings. Michael is a graduate of Trinity University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance.

David Marino
David Marino is the Group President & Chief Operating Officer of American Global, responsible for driving strategic growth and financial performance of its domestic and international insurance brokerage operations. With over 30 years of construction risk management experience, David specializes in guiding construction industry stakeholders with sophisticated risk financing and risk mitigation strategies including captives, self-insurance, and alternative market solutions for large contractors and projects both in the US and abroad. Throughout his career, David has designed programs for complex infrastructure, including alternative delivery projects and public-private partnerships, advised clients during merger and acquisition transactions, developed solutions for controlled insurance programs, and managed highly complex multi-line insurance claims to satisfactory outcomes. He has held numerous regional and national leadership roles, and has been the senior leader for many of ENR’s top contractors. David is a member of the Board of Governors of the New York Building Foundation/New York Building Congress, and also serves as a board member for ACE National.
David is a graduate of St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Business Degree in Insurance and holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, as well as a Property and Casualty Broker’s license.

David Hall
David Hall is Chief Financial Officer of American Global, based in our Jericho, New York headquarters. As a proven and effective leader, David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in a variety of operational, strategic, and financial capacities. With more than a decade of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, he has developed core competencies in budget & forecast management, business intelligence & KPIs, compliance & audit, and process optimization, among others. As CFO, David helps guide American Global’s financial strategy while overseeing the company’s financial administration and planning, including financial policy development, management of accounting systems, budget planning, risk management, insurance, purchasing, taxation, forecasting, and strategic planning. He also manages fiduciary funds, ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of premiums from clients to insurance carrier partners. David will also prepare capital budgets, balance sheets and P&L statements for American Global and all related entities. Prior to joining American Global, David spent the majority of his career at a large publicly traded broker, serving as a financial analyst, strategist and most recently, global finance leader.
David holds a Master of Business Administration Degree specializing in Finance, from Dalhousie University, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honors in Economics, from Mount Allison University.

Torre Taylor Dos Santos
Torre Taylor Dos Santos is the Director of Talent and Culture at American Global. Torre began with American Global when it was founded in 2014 and assisted in growing the company’s operations and administration. She leads internal and external branding for the company, works to improve processes and procedures, and leads long-term organizational planning within American Global. Torre also guides and manages the overall provision of the company's Human Resources services, policies, and programs. Torre holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and is a licensed Florida General Lines agent. Torre is a graduate of Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management & Marketing, and holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Florida International University.

Will Griffin
William Griffin is the President of the Florida operation. He is a passionate leader and trusted business partner responsible for driving strategy, delivering results, and ensuring the long-term success of American Global clients.
Will was one of American Global’s first employees and has played an integral role in developing and expanding its platform. He has focused on cultivating essential market relationships and building a local team of dynamic professionals. Before joining the American Global team, Will worked for a global brokerage firm, where he helped increase the local construction book by 200% in three years.
Will is currently an active member of several construction associations, serves as a board member of the CFMA of South Florida, and acts as Associate General for the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County. Will is a graduate of Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts, Liberal Arts, and Sciences Degree.

Kevin Walsh
Kevin Walsh joined American Global in 2014 as a Principal and President of the operations of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has over 15 years of experience in the surety and construction insurance and risk management business. In his role, Kevin’s primary focus is to support our clients ranging from the Mid-Atlantic Region up through Metro-New York. He is an industry leader who brings valuable experience and knowledge to American Global and has helped build a team of highly talented construction and surety industry experts with diverse backgrounds to ensure we are delivering creative solutions for our customers and partners. Over the course of his career and tenure at American Global, Kevin has managed large, complex surety bond programs and has expertise with co-surety, shared accounts, reverse flow, and private equity placements. With the support of our product line experts, Kevin is also a consultative partner for our clients around Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI), Corporate Programs, and Wrap Up Solutions. Kevin began his career at Chubb Surety in 2005 and, prior to joining American Global, spent several years with a global broker where he was responsible for developing and managing surety and insurance relationships, including some of the most prominent GC/CM, engineering, heavy civil, and sub-trade firms throughout the New York Metro region. Kevin is a graduate of Virginia Tech – Pamplin College of Business with a B.S. in Marketing Management.

Jennifer Westmoreland
Jennifer Westmoreland is the President of American Global’s Georgia and Carolinas regions operations. Jennifer has distinguished herself in the southeast insurance market as a results-oriented construction professional and has brought valuable insights and work ethic to her clients and projects. Jennifer has built a team of highly talented construction insurance and surety individuals that are focused on overall risk management strategies for clients. Jennifer joined American Global from Zurich North America, where she spent 12 years and held various underwriting leadership positions. She built strong broker and client relationships and was responsible for the Zurich Atlanta, Orlando and Charlotte teams and clients. As the Business Execution Lead, she helped develop, manage, and implement operational and strategic priorities for the national Construction team, as well as develop enhanced solutions to meet client needs.

Paul Messenger
Paul Messenger is the President of our Texas operations. Paul leads a team of innovative and technical construction surety and insurance professionals dedicated to delivering best-in-class service and solutions to our clients. Paul has 20 + years of construction risk management experience, helping clients with their most challenging insurance and risk management issues. With a focus on identifying contractors’ total cost of risk, Paul works tirelessly to help his clients reduce their cost of risk, putting more to the bottom line. Prior to joining American Global, Paul previously held leadership positions at large international brokerage firms. Other areas of expertise include risk financing, contractual risk transfer, controlled insurance programs, and subcontractor default insurance. Paul is active in several industry trade organizations and was on the board of directors for the Associated General Contractors of America from 2017-2018. Paul is a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Nick Bokios
At American Global, Nick will be leading our Illinois team, which is based in Chicago. Nick has distinguished himself in the Midwest surety market as a results-oriented and collaborative professional who brings solutions to his clients and team members he supports. Nick’s leadership and industry experience will take our presence and capabilities in the Midwest to the next level. Prior to joining the American Global team, Nick held the position of Vice President and Sr Contract Underwriting Officer overseeing the Midwest region for Liberty Mutual Surety. In this position, Nick provided strong leadership and in-depth analysis to clients and the underwriting team while leading the strategy on some of the most complex surety accounts. Nick currently holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Nick graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and from Colorado State University with his Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Anastasia Fleckser
Anastasia (“Annie”) Fleckser is President of American Global’s Pennsylvania operations, located outside Philadelphia. Annie is responsible for leading our experienced Berwyn-based team while expanding the firm’s capabilities and presence across Pennsylvania and throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining American Global, Annie served as Senior Vice President of Chubb Major Accounts, where she managed the strategic direction and growth of their Primary Construction portfolio. Prior to her role as SVP, she also held other leadership roles within the firm, including construction industry practice leader. Previously, Annie began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) as an associate in the insurance and banking assurance practice. Annie is a graduate of Emory University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting.

John McGill
John McGill leads American Global Project Solutions, a national project risk practice that provides contractor and owner/developer clients and prospects with project risk consulting, placement, and management services. Through thoughtful coordination of insurance program design, placement, administration, claims, and loss control resources and expertise, John’s team seeks to develop the best possible solution for our clients and their projects. John has 20 years of construction risk management experience, focused on Owner and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs and developing solutions for clients in a challenging construction casualty market. He specializes in both contractor practice programs and project risk program design, placement, and servicing for local and national contractors and developers. John’s project risk specialization includes casualty, builders’ risk, pollution, and professional and surety, with particular expertise in the New York construction market. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College’s Carrol School of Management and is a Licensed Property and Casualty Broker.

Kent Peters
Kent Peters is President of American Global’s newly established Canadian operation. As a proven leader and former executive within the Construction and Industry specialty practice, Kent brings more than 34 years’ experience in surety, performance security and credit products. At American Global, Kent is responsible for expanding our North American presence, ensuring that American Global clients have the best access to markets, advice and services throughout Canada. Prior to joining American Global, Kent served as Senior Vice President & National Director for Strategic Security at Aon Risk Services, the largest surety broker in Canada, where he created innovative performance security products for the growing P3 space in Canada and was instrumental in the promotion and acceptance of surety bonds, in place of letters of credit. Previously, Kent also worked in a variety of roles for Export Development Canada (EDC). Kent is a graduate of the University of Alberta.

Ricardo Davila
Ricardo Davila is the head of our international operations, focused on managing the international team and guiding clients through the complexities of working across borders. Ricardo is a Civil Engineer with 17+ years of experience in the construction industry, focused on international and large projects experience. Ricardo has participated in the development and construction of multi-million-dollar public-private partnership (PPP) projects and in the construction of major infrastructure projects in different countries, including but not limited to Spain, Colombia, South Africa, Ireland, and the United States. Prior to joining American Global, Ricardo worked as a Business Development Manager in the United States and in Colombia for Dragados S.A. His work included responsibilities in the development and implementation of the country/area’s strategies; establishment of the brand, coordination and permanent follow-up of relations with public sector administrators; management of proposal/tender teams to develop project controls and budgets; reviews and negotiations of contracts with public administrations; definition of construction means and methods; coordination and integration of engineering disciplines during the tender process and overall management of the pre-construction services. Ricardo is a graduate of the Colombian School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and holds a master’s in construction economy and Specialty from the Polytechnic University in Valencia, Spain.

Michael Meisten is a Senior Vice President and Chief Broking Officer at American Global, working with contractor clients and prospective clients on complex insurance matters throughout the U.S. Mike is also responsible for managing American Global’s Insurer relationships nationally and internationally. Prior to joining American Global, Mike experienced a nearly 20+ year career with Marsh, where he served as the US Construction Casualty Placement Leader, overseeing a team of highly technical and experienced placement brokers responsible for the marketing, negotiating, and placement of highly complex primary and excess casualty insurance programs for construction related clients. Mike is a graduate of Concordia College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Iona College.

Krystal Stravato
Krystal Stravato is the Surety Operations Leader of American Global. In this role, Krystal oversees the client fulfillment and operations of the Surety Division. Krystal has earned an excellent reputation in the industry with clients and in major surety markets. Krystal joined American Global with 20+ years of experience in the surety industry. She began her career with Selective Insurance Group in 1998. After five years on the carrier side of the business, Krystal went on to work for two New Jersey-based national brokerage firms, where she managed the surety programs for contractors throughout the Northeast. Krystal quickly developed a passion for the construction and surety business and built strong relationships with her clients and underwriters. In 2011, she accepted a position working with Marsh USA as a Surety Bond Specialist. While at Marsh, she handled the surety needs for some of the firm’s most highly regarded accounts, ranging from middle-market contractors to Fortune 500 publicly traded companies. Krystal has experience and expertise working with both domestic and international accounts. Krystal is a graduate of Penn State University.

Luigi Senis is the Managing Director of American Global’s Italian operations. Luigi joined American Global from Condotte D’Acqua Spa, where he was the Group Risk and Insurance Director. Luigi has participated in providing coverage for Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects and large infrastructure projects around the world. Luigi will be bringing his extensive experience in construction risk management and multinational programs to lead the team in Italy.
Luigi has a finance academic background and has spent the last 15 years in the construction industry, focusing on the insurance requirements for local and international projects. Luigi has participated in providing coverage to multi-million-dollar public-private partnership (PPP) projects and major infrastructure projects around the world.

Nancy Rogge
Nancy Rogge is the Learning and Development Manager at American Global. Nancy leads the American Global training & development efforts, supporting the continual learning of both employees and clients. Nancy has extensive experience placing and managing insurance programs for commercial contractors. Throughout her career, Nancy served as the primary client contact for her accounts, and she is known for her dedication to her clients. She is a proven leader, managing the workflow of team members for efficiency and superior customer service. She has extensive experience with guaranteed cost, loss-sensitive, project-specific, and subcontractor default insurance products. Nancy consistently achieves excellent client satisfaction through unmatched service and a deep understanding of the insurance marketplace and coverages. Nancy began her career in insurance in 2007 at Allied North America. She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree and completed graduate studies in learning and development at Georgia State University. Chris Greene is Vice President of Innovation & Insights for American Global and a forward-thinking construction insurance expert with years of experience and in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI). His passion for technology is matched only by his desire to develop and implement groundbreaking strategies. Chris’ expertise in data and analytics enhances American Global’s ability to deliver powerful insights for our clients, while seeking to leverage the digitization of the built world to reduce the total cost of risk in the construction and ownership of assets. As an advocate for the adoption of IoT (Internet of Things) and AI in construction insurance, Chris helps American Global to continue revolutionizing the role of the broker as we shape a safer, smarter and more efficient future for the sector. Prior to joining American Global, Chris served as Vice President of Strategy, Analytics & Knowledge – Construction & Infrastructure at NFP and previously worked at Aon for more than eight years, where he led Aon's North American Construction & Infrastructure Data & Analytics team. Chris currently serves on the Ontario General Contractors’ Innovation Committee. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honors in Business Administration, and a focus in Management Information Systems, from the University of Windsor.

Michael Wanko
Michael Wanko joined American Global in 2016 with over 28+ years of experience in the insurance industry. Mike supports our company-wide claims operations with a specialization in New York labor law. Mike was the primary investigator for a billion-dollar contractor and the primary New York Labor Law trial monitor for several insurance companies. After moving to New York in 1996, he opened his own consulting firm and worked with several Independent Adjuster firms to implement TPA Services, Litigation Management Services, and Case Audit Assessments. He concentrated on the Construction Industry and Labor Law Cases. His formal training/certifications include Insurance Educational Association (IEA)/Insurance Law (IEA)/UCLA Law School, New York State Licensed Adjuster, and the University of Mo-St. Louis/Conservatory of Music-Kansas City Opera Performance.

Michele Simpson
Michele Simpson is a Senior Vice President of Claims, where she is responsible for providing claim management, advocacy & consultation to American Global insurance clients. Michele is an accomplished multi-line claim professional with more than 30+ years of industry experience working for major insurance carriers and has been with American Global since 2018. Prior to joining American Global, she began her career as a claim customer service manager with Aetna, then transitioned into technical claim handling, where she held positions of increasing authority with Aetna, Travelers, Zurich, and Liberty Mutual. Michele was an Assistant Vice President with Liberty International Underwriters, a Liberty Mutual business unit, where she managed both technical and administrative staff responsible for the handling of multi-line claims in all (50) states, eastern Canada, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Michele has a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, maintains an active claim adjuster license in (16) states, and is also a CLM fellow. Michele is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.

Robert Labbe
Robert Labbe is a Vice President - Risk Engineering Specialist at American Global, based out of our New Jersey office. Rob has over 20+ years of experience managing construction projects with the focus areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Through his leadership, Rob helps guide American Global clients to develop best practices for health and safety programs while following through on their execution in the field. Rob’s first-hand construction industry experience, coupled with the perspective gained from his insurance carrier responsibilities, makes him an effective and successful leader at American Global. Prior to American Global, Rob was a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant for Zurich North America’s Construction Division. In that role, he was responsible for providing risk engineering services to construction industry stakeholders to reduce losses and increase productivity at both the project and corporate levels. He facilitated the integration of underwriting, engineering, and claims services to support positive client outcomes. Prior to Zurich, Rob worked for several national and global construction companies in operational roles (Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager, etc.) with increasing responsibilities. Rob is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management.

David Wessin
David Wessin is Vice President - Risk Engineering Services, based out of our office in Plantation, Florida. David supports American Global clients on developing best practices for safety and loss control while following through on their execution in the field to help maintain their competitive edge in the industry. David has worked in the field of health and safety for over 35 years. Throughout his career, he has chaired and served on numerous local, state, and national safety and health committees. He also founded the Safety Alliance for Excellence (SAFE) in 2012, a grassroots safety organization that has an alliance with OSHA. Most recently, David worked as Vice President of Safety & Risk for a leading construction staffing company in Florida, where he created and managed their safety services division. Previously, he served as Vice President of Loss Prevention for Coastal Construction Group, where he managed a team of over 25 safety professionals, and was a Safety Director for the largest crane company in Florida. David received his OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer/US Department of Labor from Georgia Tech University and Disaster Site Worker/OSHA/FMA training from the University of South Florida. He is also a graduate of Winona State College.

Shawn Henn
Shawn Henn is a Vice President of Risk Engineering Services with American Global. Shawn’s presence expands our capabilities throughout Canada, helping clients reduce risk by shaping and implementing comprehensive health & safety and risk management strategies across the organization, from the board room to the jobsite. Shawn is a seasoned professional with impressive credentials and more than 25 years’ experience in risk mitigation and loss prevention. He has a proven track record of developing a variety of successful programs that increase efficiencies while maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety and quality. As a former Red Seal sheet metal journeyman, Shawn also brings a valuable ’insider’ perspective, clearly understanding the true needs and challenges facing construction industry clients today. With hands-on experience and keen analytical abilities, Shawn examines historical and predictive indicators to assess problems and offer innovative solutions. Prior to joining American Global, Shawn worked as a Health and Safety Consultant following his long career at Trotter and Morton Group of Companies, serving most recently as a Senior Corporate HSE, Risk & Loss Control Executive. Shawn is an active member of many industry associations and holds multiple professional designations.

Shawn is also a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (XRSP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) US, Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC), Gold Seal Certificate (SCS), National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) and is also currently working toward his UK NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Caryn Maxfield
Caryn Maxfield is an experienced attorney and corporate executive with 16 years in the construction and surety industry. Caryn provides American Global’s clients with assistance and guidance related to their complex project pursuits, partner and subcontractor relationships, and risk mitigation strategies, as well as developing solutions to clients’ disputes and project issues. In addition, Caryn is part of American Global’s team of experts representing proposers as their Risk and Insurance Advisors on P3 and other complex alternative delivery projects. Caryn also works with various construction industry organizations to help shape procurement methods and risk allocation among all stakeholders to optimize project success. Prior to joining American Global, Caryn spent over nine years at The Walsh Group, where she served as Vice President of Strategic Projects, leading the transactional legal team. Caryn and her team were responsible for all alternative delivery project pursuits, as well as the analysis, underwriting, and negotiation of complex construction and development contracts, including public-private partnerships and various related partnership agreements. Caryn’s experience in the construction industry began in 2007 with Safeco Surety (now Liberty Mutual Surety) handling surety claims as Senior Surety Counsel in the Chicago office. Caryn also brings years of commercial litigation experience gained at two national law firms in New York and Chicago, primarily in contracts, business, and insurance law, which enhances her ability to support and connect with our clients and the insurance and surety markets globally.

Francois Wasselin
Francois Wasselin is Senior Vice President at American Global and leads the Alternative Delivery Practice. In this role, Francois leads insurance placements for major projects and develops risk management solutions. He also assists American Global's clients in their risk allocation discussions based on the technical features of their projects and the proposed contractual risk transfer. Francois is a published thought leader and a frequent speaker at several construction and infrastructure conferences. Prior to joining American Global, Francois was the SVP of Project Development at ACS Infrastructure Development, a subsidiary of the ACS Group, where he led the development and management of ACS's P3 pursuits in the U.S. Francois led all commercial negotiations and risk allocation discussions between the various parties on P3 projects. Francois is a graduate of Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees (Paris, France) with a master's Degree in Civil Engineering and holds a master's Degree in Mechanics from École Polytechnique (Paris, France).

Stephen Angiulo
Stephen Angiulo is a Senior Vice President at American Global, based out of our New York Office. Steve is one of the most respected and credible insurance professionals in the construction industry, and he has been instrumental in the evolution of risk management programs for leading contractors throughout New York and on a national basis. Throughout his career, Steve has managed some of the largest, most complex accounts and construction projects across the country in the building and civil works markets. Many of his client relationships span decades, which reflects his dedication and work ethic. Utilizing his leadership skills, Steve has collaborated with team members on many difficult program design, claim, and coverage challenges, resulting in successful outcomes for his clients.

Nancy Schnee
Nancy Schnee is Senior Vice President for our Surety team, based out of our Jericho, NY office. Nancy provides valuable insight and facilitates critical performance solutions for global, regional, and local clients. Nancy brings over 35 years of experience from the construction industry, where she spent the last 27 years at Aon, establishing strong client relations throughout the market. Nancy has spent her career being responsible for establishing, managing, and growing a broad range of surety bond programs and has experience in subcontractor default insurance. Before joining American Global, Stephen was a leader at a global consulting solutions practice, heading the firm’s Strategy and Operations Consulting Group, where he advised clients across a broad range of industries including construction, manufacturing, technology, and more. Chris Westendorf is Senior Vice President of Surety for American Global’s Midwest region, supporting our Chicago-based operations and extending our presence into Indiana. As an accomplished surety professional, Chris has a diverse background with vast experience that further expands our team’s capabilities. In his role, Chris is responsible for reviewing and analyzing contracts to help identify client needs and develop custom surety solutions, while continuing to cultivate strong relationships with both clients and carriers alike. Before joining American Global, Chris served as a Regional Vice President for Nationwide Insurance, working with many national contractors from startup companies to members of the ENR Top 400. Previously, Chris spent nearly 9 years with CNA Surety where he worked as an Underwriting Director and other roles, after launching his professional career with Hanover Insurance Group as a Contract Surety Underwriter. Chris is also an active member of many Midwest organizations including CFMA, ICI and ISA, among others. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Illinois State University and a Master of Business Administration from Butler University in Indianapolis. Chris also holds an AFSB designation.

Ed Reilly
Edward Reilly is a Senior Vice President at American Global, who works with our contractor clients and prospective clients for our Greater New York Region, as well as many national and international clients. Ed brings over 30 years of legal and surety underwriting expertise, providing strategic surety solutions to contractors throughout North America. Ed’s expertise includes surety and other forms of performance security on projects, including significant experience with alternative project delivery methods, including public-private partnerships (P3) and other large design-build procurements. Prior to joining American Global, Ed was a Senior Vice President and surety leader with the Construction Group of a large global broker. Ed began his surety career with Chubb and, over the next twenty years, spent time in various surety underwriting and legal roles, most recently as their Vice President and Regional Surety Manager and, prior to that, as their first Surety General Counsel. For over a decade, Ed has been involved in providing surety solutions, including P3 bonds with liquidity components, for some of the largest P3 and Design Build RFP project procurements in North America. Ed is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Erin Carroll is a Senior Vice President at American Global. In this role, she is responsible for delivering best-in-class service and solutions to our clients by leading a team of innovative and technical construction insurance professionals. Her innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and attention to detail have proven to produce positive results on behalf of her clients, as well as the insurance companies she represents. Erin has been in the insurance industry since 1995, specializing in construction risk management since 2011. Prior to joining American Global in 2016, Erin worked at a national broker where she designed, marketed, and implemented CCIPs, OCIPs, Project Specific Programs, and Practice Programs for a multitude of large contractors and developers. She also managed their wrap-up administration, risk management, account management, and coordination of loss control and claims services. Erin obtained her Risk Management (ARM) designation from Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. Erin is a graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

Jessica Aiello is the Senior Vice President of the New Jersey operations at American Global. In her role, Jessica leads the NJ construction specialty insurance team and oversees the management and handling of our client’s insurance portfolio, including the coordination of our value-added resources, such as claims and risk control. She is a dedicated, professional risk management advisor to the construction industry with technical expertise in property and casualty insurance products, including professional and environmentally tailored solutions. As a marketing specialist with a true commitment to quality and strong attention to detail, she thoroughly assesses each client’s risk to procure and deliver optimal insurance programs at the most competitive terms available. Jessica has 25+ years of insurance brokerage experience, working on national and global Property & Casualty insurance programs for the Construction and Non-Construction industries. Prior to joining American Global, Jessica worked at large privately held and public insurance brokerage firms, accomplished in leading teams, project management, technical coverage, and contract analysis, as well as mergers & acquisitions due diligence and post-close programs. Marc C Drumm, CRM, is Senior Vice President of American Global Canada, leading the insurance team based out of our Canadian headquarters in Oakville, Ontario. As a Commercial Insurance Broker for more than 40 years, Marc has a depth and breadth of knowledge that is of great value to clients in Canada and abroad.
While Marc has extensive knowledge in a variety of industry sectors, his core focus has been the construction industry and all risk-related matters, including contract review, large projects, Public Private Partnership (P3), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) insurance. Having worked on both the insurance broking side of transactions and within a construction firm, Marc brings unique insight and perspectives to clients and prospects.
Prior to joining American Global, Marc was Senior Vice President, Construction and Infrastructure Practice at an international brokerage and consulting firm. Previously, he was an Insurance/Risk Manager at one of Canada’s largest general contractors. As an insurance broker and advisor, Marc worked on a multitude of prestigious projects, including several multi-billion dollar infrastructure and transportation projects, as well as numerous hospital/healthcare and courthouse facilities, among others. Gerard Leib
Gerard Leib is a Senior Vice President at American Global, based out of our Pennsylvania office. Gerard is a highly experienced surety and risk professional with a diverse background in the construction business. Gerard is responsible for growing and servicing several of our best-in-class construction clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to his role at American Global, he served as Director of Aon’s mid-Atlantic surety practice from 2010 to 2014. While at Aon, Gerard managed surety programs for some of the firm’s largest engineering and construction clients, both domestic and international. From 2009 to 2010, Gerard opened and ran the mid-Atlantic commercial surety operation for Hanover Surety. There, he focused on developing strategic relationships with surety clients and agents in the Fortune 1000 space. From 2004 to 2009, he managed roles of increasing responsibility for Chubb Surety, a leader in the construction surety field. In addition to his surety career, Gerard was raised in and currently serves in a strategic advisory role to GEO Electric, Inc., a family-owned and operated electrical contracting firm based in Queens, New York. He has served as a Director of the Philadelphia chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association and is actively involved in various local AGC chapters throughout the mid-Atlantic. Greg West
Greg West is Senior Vice President of Insurance for American Global, based in our Georgia office. In addition to supporting operations and driving strategy, Greg serves as an account executive and resource for our Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) clients. He supports clients on all lines of business with regard to their construction projects and program risk plan designs, giving him a unique perspective on enterprise risk management and the total cost of risk. Greg has 20+ years of industry, sales, and risk management book management experience. He spent 14 years honing his career as a P&C and A&H insurance professional at Zurich Insurance Group, providing insurance solutions and building relationships with customers. Greg’s construction risk management career started in 2007, underwriting and marketing Zurich’s proprietary Subguard®. As the market lead in the Southeast region, Greg provided subcontractor risk solutions to general contractors throughout the broader region. He also helped manage the construction underwriting operation for the southern United States, while serving in several leadership roles within the Construction and Commercial insurance unit at large. Greg now utilizes that results-oriented and customer-focused approach to support American Global customers. Greg is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics & Chemistry.

Wes Williams is the Senior Vice President of the Georgia operations for American Global. Utilizing over two decades of construction surety experience, Wes works with an extensive portfolio of construction clients across the Southeast, ranging from local privately held businesses to large, multinational conglomerates. He focuses on helping clients optimize their surety program to meet business objectives.
Before joining American Global, Wes was a Vice President at Aon, specializing in Contract Surety for the company’s South Region. Wes also earned nearly a decade of underwriting experience at Chubb Surety and Liberty Mutual.

John Martinez
John Martinez is the Surety Senior Vice President of the Texas operations for American Global. In this role, John oversees surety operations of the Texas office, as well as opportunities in the surrounding region. John focuses on how to help our clients put the surety pieces in place, along with the provision of service-oriented surety placements and solutions for our business partners. John has 14+ years of insurance and surety experience. Prior to joining American Global, John worked at a large national brokerage firm, where he specialized in creative placements for vertical construction, horizontal construction, pipeline construction, private equity/LBO, and energy transactions (upstream through downstream) both in the domestic and international marketplaces. John’s experience includes collaborative standard and non-standard market experiences, including collateralized solutions. John is also proud to serve as a board member of the Houston Contractors.

Zack Stevens is Senior Vice President of Surety for our Florida operations, further expanding our capabilities into the Central Florida region. With more than 16 years’ experience, Zack has a wealth of knowledge about the construction surety industry and brings a fresh perspective that helps American Global clients achieve success. Working closely with clients and prospects throughout the state, Zack analyzes their business and surety needs to develop successful programs and strategies that meet or exceed their objectives. Before joining American Global, Zack worked as an Assistant Vice President at Sompo International where he transitioned from a Field Underwriter supporting contractors in Florida, to a Home Office Underwriting helping to manage a profitable portfolio of contract surety clients throughout the Southeast, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions. Prior to his time with Sompo, Zack gained meaningful experience as a Field Underwriter at QBE Surety and Travelers Bond.

Deanna Brewer
Deanna Brewer is a Senior Vice President and Account Executive for our Canadian surety team, further expanding our presence and capabilities in Calgary. With more than 25 years’ experience in construction surety, Deanna has supported multi-billion dollar accounts for some of North America’s largest contractors. Her vast knowledge and strong communication skills make her an outstanding Account Executive, as she helps clients evaluate their surety needs and develop successful programs and strategies to meet or exceed their objectives. Deanna has experience working with JV, P3, and AFP projects, and has provided extensive surety consultation to public and Provincial sectors in Canada. With a deep understanding of contractual risk, Deanna also assists in reviewing construction RFPs/tenders, as well as construction contracts (i.e., Design Build CM@Risk, Stipulated Lump Sum and more). Prior to joining American Global Canada, Deanna spent 20+ years expanding her capabilities and growing her career at Aon in Edmonton, before briefly serving as Senior Vice President of NFP Construction and Infrastructure Group- Surety (now an Aon Company). Jack Frazier
Jack Frazier is Senior Vice President-Insurance at American Global and brings an array of executive skills, honed from over 35 years’ experience in the New York construction insurance industry. Recognized in New York State as a Workers Compensation (WC) expert and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Workers’ Compensation program manager, Jack has focused his career on progressive claims mitigation techniques. Having earned the trust of both management and labor organizations, Jack has been instrumental in establishing successful claims mitigation programs with collective bargaining, through employer associations, the building trades and project labor agreements (PLAs). Prior to joining American Global, Jack held positions as: Chief Executive and President of Lovell and Sterling Risk Management, Inc., Vice President and Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution Workers’ Compensation at Allied North America and Senior Vice President Production at AON Construction Services.

Michael Africk is a Senior Vice President based out of Illinois. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and national construction industry expert with more than four decades of experience. In his capacity as a CPA focused on contractor clients, Mike has earned a reputation as a technical expert who delivers value and insight. His experience and perspective are a welcome addition to American Global’s clientele and a complement to a diverse team of solution providers. Mike is also a seasoned board director, strategic advisor, and entrepreneur. Prior to joining American Global, he was a Principal and Regional Construction Practice Leader (among others) with CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) for more than ten years. Previously, Mike served as President and CEO of the accounting firm he co-founded in 1996, which specialized in construction, real estate, manufacturing, and distribution. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1980, when he began his career at Deloitte.

George Luther
George Luther is Vice President–Insurance for the Southeast region of American Global, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he supports the operations of our Atlanta-based office, serving as team leader and senior client contact for our construction-focused property and casualty business. George is responsible for directing and guiding the Southeast insurance team, managing new and renewal account processes and strategies, as well as identifying and recommending coverage and markets in order to provide exceptional service and value for American Global’s clients. George has more than 25 years’ experience in risk management and insurance services, including eight years at Zurich North America where he led the Southeast territory and managed impressive portfolios of large, middle market and project/wrap business. George has proven expertise in specialized risk transfer and management, with a thorough understanding of coverage placement throughout the insurance industry. George is also active in many industry associations including Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), where he served as a board member for four years.

Mike joined American Global from Calvetti Ferguson CPA firm, where he held the role of Real Estate and Construction Market Leader and brought over 30+ years of construction CPA experience throughout the state of Texas. He is currently the President and on the Board of Directors for the Construction Industry CPA and Consulting Associate (“CICPAC”). Mike previously held the title of President of the Surety Association of Houston and Chairman of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, and is currently an active member of the Tax and Legislative Committee at the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Previously Katie was the President of our Georgia operations where she was a solutions provider focused on designing, negotiating, and servicing contractors with their risk management needs. Lawrence “Larry” Esposito has a 25+ year career in the insurance industry, where he has held several financial management roles. Larry oversees our finance and accounting operations. Larry previously worked for several insurance carriers, including New York Life, where he was the Financial Officer of their Brokerage business. During the second part of his career, Larry held positions for accounting and advisory firms in their insurance practices. Over his career, Larry has worked with many insurance organizations in and around their finance and compliance functions.
Larry is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a B. S. in Accounting, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Fordham University, and is a CPA and CMA.
