American Global is excited to announce that Zack Stevens has joined their Florida operation as Senior Vice President of Surety, further expanding the company’s capabilities and presence in the Central Florida region.

With more than 16 years’ experience, Zack brings a wealth of knowledge about the construction surety industry and a fresh perspective that will help American Global clients achieve success. In his new role, Zack will work closely with both clients and prospects to analyze their business and surety needs, developing successful programs and strategies that meet or exceed their objectives.

Before joining American Global, Zack worked as an Assistant Vice President at Sompo International where he transitioned from a Field Underwriter supporting contractors in Florida, to a Home Office Underwriter helping to manage a profitable portfolio of contract surety clients throughout the Southeast, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions. Prior to his time with Sompo, Zack gained meaningful experience as a Field Underwriter at QBE Surety and Travelers Bond.

Zack graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami (FL) School of Business Administration where he majored in Accounting and Business Management & Administration.
