American Global is pleased to announce that Matthew Antzes has joined their Northeast claims team as an Assistant Vice President, based out of our metropolitan NY/NJ offices.

Matthew brings more than 16 years’ experience managing a variety of large, complex construction claims in New York and throughout the country, as well as maritime claims across the US and Canada. He also carries broad experience with both Professional Liability and General Liability claims. Matt’s depth of knowledge, combined with his strong communication and technical skills, ensure that he will be an effective advocate for American Global clients, always dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes on their behalf.

Prior to joining American Global, Matt spent five years as a Construction Major Case Specialist in the Complex Claim Unit for Travelers, with distinct expertise in coverage. Previously, he gained valuable claims knowledge working as a Marine Claims Specialist, Senior Professional Liability Claims Examiner, Commercial General Liability Claims Adjuster and No-Fault Claims Examiner for various firms.

Matthew Antzes holds both a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation, as well as an Adjuster’s Licenses in multiple states. He is a Phi Alpha Theta Scholarship Key Award Winner and graduated cum laude from Queens College in New York.
