Michele Simpson is a Senior Vice President of Claims where she is responsible for providing claim management, advocacy & consultation to American Global insurance clients. Michele is an accomplished multi-line claim professional with more than 30+ years of industry experience working for major insurance carriers and has been with American Global since 2018. Prior to joining American Global, she began her career as a claim customer service manager with Aetna, then transitioned into technical claim handling where she held positions of increasing authority with Aetna, Travelers, Zurich and Liberty Mutual. Michele was an Assistant Vice President with Liberty International Underwriters, a Liberty Mutual business unit, where she managed both technical and administrative staffs responsible for the handling of multi-line claims in all (50) states, eastern Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Michele has a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and maintains an active claim adjuster license in (16) states and is also a CLM fellow. Michele is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
